About

If you’d like to know a little more…

I hold a BA in English from Vassar College and an MFA in Creative Writing (Poetry) from the University of Arkansas. My graduate thesis is a poetry manuscript titled “Fragments of a Note Written then Destroyed” which is a sparsely-worded collection of black and white photographs and ekphrastic poems meditating upon mortality, grief, and resurrection through imagination.

Since graduating from my MFA program in May of 2025, I have been working as a legal transcriptionist, editor, and proofreader. After working intensely in poetry for four years, I’m exploring my interests in politics, history, and current events by reading and writing nonfiction prose. I plan to submit my thesis manuscript for publication, but other than that I’m going to let all the poetry I’ve written in the past several years rest awhile.
